On November 24, 2022 a working meeting of the permanent conference of rectors of regional universities was held at the International Center for Education. The was hosted by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, the Head of the Center – Nunu Mickiewicz.
During the meeting, important issues were discussed:  importance of involvement of regional universities in the internationalization process; Opportunities for students of regional universities to participate in scholarship programs; successful experience of the Georgian-Hungarian scholarship program Stipendium Hungaricum, which offers students more than 600 training courses in different languages and areas. Representatives of the regional universities expressed their readiness to facilitate active participation in the scholarship programs and promptly inform students about ongoing calls.
