On June 15, 2023, a meeting of the conference of rectors of regional universities was held at Kutaisi International University. At the meeting in according with the decision of the Board of the Conference, the rector of Gori State University, Professor Giorgi Sosiashvili, was re-elected as the chairman of the conference for the second term.
