On June 15, 2023, a meeting of the conference of rectors was held at Kutaisi International University. The conference was chaired by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.
During the meeting the issues important for the Higher Educational Institutions were discussed. The topics included prioritised educational programs, preparation of the universities for authorization/accreditation process and regulations for distant education. The challenges currently existing at the universities were also discussed. Both sides expressed their readiness for coordinated cooperation.
