On December 27, 2023 a meeting of the Conference was held at Georgian Technical University that was  led by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari.  The conference was a platform to discuss current challenges in the field of higher education as well as  topics including legislative changes in the direction of higher education, attracting foreign students to study in Georgia, development of three-year undergraduate programs and mechanisms for ensuring the quality of doctoral educational programs and research. During the conference, the Minister also answered the questions asked by the representatives of the universities.
